Medical specialist in Cardiology. Proficient in the application of statistical methods to clinical studies.
I studied Medicine at the University of La Laguna and specialized in Cardiology at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid (2013-2018). Subsequently, I decided to specialize in the field of Interventional Cardiology doing a 3-year fellowship at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos. I obtained the master's degree in Interventional Cardiology from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2020 and the Accreditation in specific training for the practice of Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology in 2022.
During my training as a specialist I have participated in multiple clinical research projects that have resulted in publications in international scientific journals and presentations at congresses. Given my growing interest in clinical research, I decided to pursue the Diploma in Design and Statistics in Health Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2020-2022).
I have also been a professor in the Master's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging in Cardiology of the Spanish Society of Cardiology and I am currently developing my doctoral thesis in research in medical-surgical sciences, focused on the field of Interventional Cardiology at the Complutense University of Madrid.
