Machine Learning Specialist. Extensive experience managing projects and large teams.
My interest in data and mathematical models has always been high and that is why I decided to study mathematics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, after which I did a master's degree in teaching at the same university because I like both research and teaching.
In this master's degree I decided to continue studying and I got to know Machine Learning, it seemed to me a magnificent field to apply the knowledge acquired during the years I had spent studying mathematics. So I continued my path at the Autonomous University studying the Master of research and innovation, specializing in computational intelligence of the EPS and in parallel I started the doctorate in the same Faculty.
After two years researching, at the end of 2014 I left the university and went to the private sector. My first experience was in Iberia Express, where I started as the first Data Scientist of the BI team, the beginnings, like everyone, were hard, but also a nice challenge, as it is all to do. Since then I have been in this company evolving every day and doing different jobs. The team grew and I became responsible for Advanced Analytics, with a small team but very powerful Machine Learning models. After a series of changes in the organization I have been moving up in my professional career and I am currently the manager of E-commerce, MKT and analytics of Iberia Express, being in charge of almost 20 people from different areas, and therefore I like to emphasize that my profile is technical, I also have experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Finally, I would like to emphasize that during these years I have not stopped learning and training, so I have completed a master's degree specialized in Deep Learning at MBIT and a master's degree in biostatistics and computational biology at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, because I love all the applications developed with Machine Learning and Deep Learning in the world of medicine.
